We are a network of eight Volunteer England accredited Volunteer Centres working together to promote and support voluntary action in your local community.

Volunteers Week ran between 1st – 7th June 2012 to celebrate the contribution millions of people make across the UK and inspire others to take part.

West Sussex Volunteer Centres receive national accreditation

The 8 West Sussex Volunteer Centres and Volunteer Hub have successfully achieved Volunteer Centre Quality Accreditation, or VCQA, for providing high quality volunteering support services across the county.  VCQA is a national accreditation programme recognising excellence in volunteering support over 6 areas of activity.

2012: a year in volunteering

Skill Share: a web based service for bite sized volunteering across West Sussex

Skill Share West Sussex is a free initiative designed to provide bite-sized volunteering opportunities of between one and ten days to students, professionals and businesses.  If you want to volunteer, or are a West Sussex based charity, community group or social enterprise looking for volunteers visit the Skill Share website for more details.
